Trends and Takeaways from This Year’s Builders Conference
This year’s builders conference took place in Las Vegas. Some interesting design trends are making their way across America.
Here are some top things that we took away:
The days of a large bathtub in the master suite bathroom are going away. Instead homebuyers want more space and storage in the bathroom. We have already seen a couple requests for this here in Arkansas.
Larger bedrooms – homebuyers are requesting minimum secondary bedrooms of 12 x 12. In addition, walk in closets in these secondary bedrooms are a top request as well.
Open formal dining rooms – or no formal dining rooms at all.
Greys are headed out and warmth is heading in – We have not seen a lot of this here locally. Grey and grey/beige mix still seem to be a top request.
It seems some of the trends that were requested during the pandemic are here to stay. Things like rooms that can be repurposed in different ways such as guest bedrooms or offices are still very popular.
The absolutely best thing about building your own home is being able to give it your own touches and preferences. Greeson Construction can help!
